Odoo Supply Chain Consultant

The Supply Chain Consultant will be responsible for project management in the implementation of Odoo in companies operating in various sectors, following Captivea's methodology. Captivea consultants translate client needs into tailored software solutions for their business processes.

As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will be an expert in Supply Chain (inventory management, logistics, procurement, etc.) and will be the point of reference for these issues. You will also be involved in the implementation of other Odoo modules (Accounting, CRM, HR, etc.) to ensure a complete and cohesive ERP solution.

Responsibilities

  • As a Supply Chain Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Understanding the project scope and analyzing the client's needs:
    - Conduct workshops with clients to understand their current processes and identify potential improvements.
    - Conduct Odoo module demonstrations for clients.
  • Analyze and evaluate the client's inventory management, procurement, and logistics processes, and recommend improvements using Odoo’s features.
  • Implement the ERP software to meet the client's specific needs:
    - Define and estimate tasks.
    - Install and configure modules, particularly those related to the supply chain.
    - Customize modules using implementation tools (Studio, automated actions, scheduled actions).
    - Import data.
    - Write functional specifications and collaborate with developers.
  • Act as a reference for supply chain-related modules and assist on projects of other team members for supply chain-related questions (questions from both team members and clients).
  • Ensure client satisfaction at every project stage, from launch to production.
    - Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Ensure adherence to Captivea’s methodology throughout the implementation.

Skills and Qualities

  • Supply Chain Experience: A solid background (minimum 3 years) in supply chain management, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and processes related to the flow of goods. Expertise in optimizing supply chain processes and a good understanding of logistical challenges are essential.
  • Knowledge of Odoo (a plus): Experience with Odoo’s Supply Chain modules is an advantage, but expertise in supply chain management and ERP implementation is a priority.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs and to collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Autonomy and Team Spirit: The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other team members to achieve goals.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex processes and propose practical solutions to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Adaptability and Openness to Challenges: A willingness to adapt to different sectors and specific client challenges while seeking innovative solutions.
