Senior ERP Consultant

The Senior ERP consultant will design, develop, and implement ERP software solutions for the company’s clients. Oversee and coordinate the people, resources, and processes needed to deliver new software or upgrade existing products. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand user needs and determine the system performance standards and hardware configurations required to meet client specifications, budget, security needs, and other parameters. Assess the feasibility of designs and project parameters within time and cost constraints, draft initial proposals, and prepare software requirements and specification documents.

The position requires Incidental Travel- 1 % of the time, not more than several days a few times a year throughout the US.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead the development of ERP solutions and manage projects using industry-standard best practices, proprietary policies, and AGILE methodology.
  • Design ERP databases for specific application areas and collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support required applications.
  • Control the technical configuration of project assets by applying processes for documentation, changing control management, re-configuration, baselining, data management, and other relevant processes.
  • Monitor application functionality to identify potential problems and perform testing and validation procedures to ensure applications meet user specifications.
  • Modify software as needed to correct errors or improve performance. Gather and evaluate internal and external user feedback and modify software as needed for improved useability.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert with regards to the company’s ERP solutions and provide guidance and training to clients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends in IT and ERP solutions.

Requirements

  • This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
  • This May be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
